Artist’s Statement

As a relative newcomer to the art of photography, my journey began through curiosity and experimentation. Initially, I focused on stock photography, capturing images of food, florals, and birding. As my passion grew, I found my work resonating with people, which encouraged me to move from stock photography into exhibitions.  Today, my photography has evolved to embrace the rich culture of New Mexico, capturing the unique character and spirit of the region.

I am now represented in a gallery in Old Town, sharing space with eight other inspiring photographers. While New Mexico culture remains a central theme in my work, I am also drawn to exploring the diversity of other places I travel to. My love for food and floral photography continues to play a significant role, allowing me to focus on the beauty and detail in the any of the subjects I encounter.
